Leyla, as all westies, loves digging. Sometimes I let her enter my vegetable garden and there she would dig all day. As you may not know, West Highland White Terriers were breed for chasing off rats and field mice from farmers’ land in North England.

Since it is almost the end of June, and the air is hot, it is good to spent some time in the forest, to cool yourself off. Today I went hiking with Leyla, and she really enjoyed it. Like all dogs, when you take long walks with them, make sure you have water, for you and your dog, so they don’t suffer from dehydration.
